how to use WorshipScores
how WorshipScores started

For Communion:

"I used the acoustic guitar in the key of A directly after "Draw Me Close To You", which led into communion time with scripture and prayer. The WorshipScore was played under the talking, too. It worked beautifully and provided a smooth transition while there was a lot of movement going on. To my surprise, the sound man used the piano score during communion. That worked well, too."

Use while musicians are entering/exiting stage:

"I will have the acoustic one played after the last song to get the praise team and band off the stage before the message or next element in the service."

During announcements:

"I plan to use the acoustic or drum loop at the end during the close while a couple of reminder announcements are given, then as this fades out, the closing jammin music will come on."

Give the pianist a break!

"I usually play the piano during our prayers and announcements. However, this is a very nice alternative to give me break. This is also great when I have to be away on a Sunday."

During prayer:

"Our pastor led the congregation to a time of prayer as the worship team and congregation finished singing. Our sound tech was right on cue and hit the WorshipScore piano cut in "A". This does require some practice since the WorshipScore is designed to come in under the singers."

During the offering:

"After we worshipped with the song, "How Great Is Our God", the drum loop track was played as we received the offering. Then as we began to go into the preaching of the Word, we used the acoustic guitar track."

Dead space:

"I love being able to "fill-in" the dead time silence in our services between events. Occasionally, planned silence wonderful, but most often, there are simply blank times where a nice fill-in is nice."

more ideas

We implemented the tracks during our worship this past Sunday morning and Sunday night. After we worshipped with the song, "How Great Is Our God", the drum loop track was played as we received the offering. Then as we began to go into the preaching of the Word, we used the acoustic guitar track. Then, even for the altar service at the conclusion, we went back to the acoustic track.

Sunday evening we used the acoustic track as a prelude to the Word and the piano track for our altar service.

It all worked out beautifully, especially with our being a small church (at the moment).

I also liked being able to select from several different keys. It makes it easy to play the track in the very same key we sing the song in. It maintains a continuity in the transition.
