how to use WorshipScores.com:

how WorshipScores started.
how other churches are using WorshipScores.
Dead space will kill your contemporary worship! You know those times when the band takes
too long to get on stage or leave it... that
deacon takes forever to reach the pulpit
for announcements after you've finished the
last song... only a few seconds, but the
awkward silence makes it seem like minutes.
In his book The Habits of Highly Effective Churches, church analyst George Barna has found that
highly effective and successful churches
have at least 20 minutes of uninterrupted
worship. Music is the glue that ties your worship
experience together, and our audio WorshipScores are designed
to help your worship flow.
WorshipScores is a new way to enhance your
worship service! Download a few free samples and try them
out for yourself. We'll continually be making new WorshipScores
available for an affordable fee. Here are
some ideas for using them:
1. Download and save to your computer. You might want to create a folder called
"WorshipScores" so you can locate
them easily in the future.
2. Play them in your service:
... burn a CD, have your soundman play them
from the soundbooth
... play them from a portable MP3 player
(like an iPod)
... play them from worship projection software
like MediaShout or EasyWorship (your computer
must be hooked up to your soundboard)
... play them from a laptop that's connected
to your sound system
3. Use them:
... to segue out of your praise set into
prayers or announcements
... for prelude / postlude music
... for Communion
... to accompany home-made videos shown in
your service (church mission trip footage...
etc.)
... each WorshipScore order comes with a
PDF chord chart - make all the copies you
want for your band and let them play along
We've created WorshipScores to be reminiscent
of popular praise songs to give you ideas...
but they're generic enough to be used in
any situation and with any song.

"I plan to use the acoustic or drum
loop at the end during the close while a
couple of reminder announcements are given,
then as this fades out, the closing jammin
music will come on."
"I usually
play the piano
during our
prayers and
announcements.
However, this
is a very nice
alternative
to give me break.
This is also
great when
I have to be away
on a Sunday."
"I used
the acoustic guitar in the key
of A directly
after "Draw Me Close To
You",
which led into communion time
with scripture
and prayer. The WorshipScore
was played
under the talking, too. It worked
beautifully
and provided a smooth transition
while there
was a lot of movement going on.
To my surprise,
the sound man used the piano
score during
communion. That worked well,
too."
"Sunday evening we used the acoustic
track as a prelude to the Word and the piano
track for our altar service. It all worked
out beautifully, especially with our being
a small church."
